Matthew and Kim’s wedding day was a beautiful masterclass in genuine emotion and effortless style. As a photographer, my goal was to step back and let the magic happen completely unscripted. We bypassed stiff, old-fashioned poses in favor of catching the honest, in-between moments—the quiet deep breaths before the ceremony, the shared glances across a crowded room, and the explosive laughter during the speeches. The final images reflect exactly how the day felt, not just how it looked.
The setting provided an absolute playground for cinematic imagery. We took advantage of the soft, flattering daylight filtering through the windows for the ceremony, and then sneaked away for just ten minutes during the reception. Catching the final, warm glow of the sun allowed us to create a handful of relaxed, striking portraits of the newlyweds before throwing them right back into the party.
