Ask Us A Question

As we offer ‘unlimited photographs’ at your Wedding, this only varies based on how big your day is, what goes on and the number of guests etc. Typically, we shoot around 1000-2000 or more, and you can ask for anything you like too, through the day. The current record is 3370 from a rather large wedding day.

All images are taken as proper RAW-format stills on their own cameras, separate from any video camera equipment. This is mentioned to reassure you that we do not just “film everything” and then take paused screen-grabs from the motion video footage. There are a lot of other companies that do this, and it makes for much lower resolution and lower quality photos.

All images are edited for colour, contrast, brightness (and some extra specialist adjustments to get the best from each image, such as High Dynamic Range adjustments) and sometimes a bit of a vignette  (subtle darkening around the corners).

And since 2026, we now also add a touch of Face Airbrush / Retouch, using the World’s most powerful professional AI face adjusting software built into Capture One Pro (our favourite RAW image editor). But don’t worry, this is nice and subtle and you won’t end up looking like you have “Insta filters” applied.

The normal turnaround from Wedding Day to receiving your full set of photos is about 3 months. Over the Summer a bit of backlog usually happens but we work like machines to try and get things caught up as fast as possible.

Raw image files are available on request for an extra cost. As we use Sony Alpha 7 cameras, these will be in Sony .ARW format and can also be supplied as the unedited or Capture One Pro Session edited set. For the latter, you would need Capture One Pro editing software to import the session containing all the background META data which holds the adjustments.

No. This is something that we strongly disagree with, when it comes to how many other companies operate. If we take, say 2000 photos, there will only be a small number of test shots / duds to be deleted before the full set is edited. Usually these are random scene shots just to get camera settings, or sometimes when it might take a few goes to get the close-up focusing on tiny things, such as the rings in the box etc.

It is common for Wedding Photographers to perform “culling sessions” which is where they delete quite a lot of what was taken, leaving only their choices for you to receive. But we find it is better to give the customer everything, even when we take bursts of the same group shot (for example) because facial expressions can vary just a tiny bit and what you prefer might be different to what the photographer thought was best.

If customers wish to ‘cull’ their photos down, it is easy to open an empty folder on your computer and drag your favourites into it, before archiving the rest.

Yes! We give shared copyright to all our customers, along with the full-size JPEG image files. You can print and share them as you wish.
