Why Choose Keylight?
Where some photography companies charge as little as £20-30 [change] to do the same, you only ever receive a basic single print. If you want more, it costs a lot of money. With Keylight, you get the full flexibility of what you want to do with the images, as the USB will contain all photos taken during the session and at full size and quality.
What Do I Get?
During the shoot, Jonathon will direct you to get the best out of your look, poses and styles etc. Bring a few changes of clothes too and make the session vary. Refreshments are also provided during the shoot, for your comfort.
All photographs are edited for basic Photoshop corrections, which includes blemish removal and skin tone matching and enhancements. All photographs are then converted from the cameras’ RAW format, to full size and quality JPEG or TIFF files, which are supplied on a USB for you to keep. If we take 50-60 shots, you get them all. No compromises.
You can print at home, or on the high street. We also recommend a selection of professional companies for printing and enlargements, which are the same as we use for all of our commercial and customer output.
How long does the session last?
Usually, the photo shoot session lasts around 1-2 hours. If you set aside 3 hours, then this will be plenty of time to discuss and approach the first shot. From then on, its a click happy session.
What about location shoots?
The studio is portable, (fold-away, if you like) and can be set up in your home if you have enough room. As a guide, you would need a room of about 3m x 5m for best results. For themed photo shoots, you can specify the location, which may have sentimental value to you and your family. Places that have been used in the past are; Tamworth Castle, Tamworth Castle Grounds, Highbury Hall in Moseley, Birmingham, the Selfridges Building in Birmingham, The Arboretum in Walsall, Hickman Park in Bilston, Wolverhampton, various places in Leicester the list goes on. Weather permitting, outside portraiture is very popular as you get to choose fantastic scenery as a backdrop.
